Our story:
Turbi is founded in São Paulo, Brazil, with the bold mission to reinvent urban mobility through technology. Launching a pioneering 100% digital car rental service, our startup introduced app-based vehicle rentals with keyless pick-up and drop-off, eliminating queues and paperwork.
The platform officially launches to the public, unveiling a novel operational model in Brazil. This integrated geolocation, telemetry, and complete automation of the rental experience. Our first vehicles began circulating, with all reservations made entirely via the app.
Driven by a focus on user autonomy, Turbi expands its operations within São Paulo. We forged partnerships with parking facilities and shopping centers to broaden our pick-up locations. Our fleet impressively surpassed 500 vehicles.
Despite the formidable challenges posed by the pandemic, Turbi demonstrated remarkable resilience and sustained growth. Operations were optimized through data-driven insights, and the customer experience was enhanced with new in-app features, including automated support and traffic fine management.
We introduced the Turbi Subscription plan, allowing customers to keep a vehicle for 30 days or more with flexible, bureaucracy-free renewals. This solution quickly attracted users seeking convenience and flexibility in car usage without the commitment of ownership.
